We had lunch and fun at the Forest Creek Golf Course last Thursday. Then the Golfers belatedly teed off and played some great golf Pres. Lori commends Scott Swindell for organizing this event. He done good and Bob McGahey got to the fairway on Hole No. 1 in four strokes. This was not a Championship Competition and the Golfers had a great time.

Pres. Lori has announced that Dale Reklefs and consented to be our Liaison with the Great Oaks Bor Scout Pack #174 and our Club will be the Chartering organization for the Pack #174. Thanx Dale, you always come thru when needed.

Also, Pres. Lori reminds us that Tuesday nite June 6 will be Rotary Nite at the Dell Diamond. Tickets to the game are half price. A section will be reserved for Rotarians and you must sign up by Thursdays meeting 5-25-06. So come on out and bring a spouse, significant other , or friend and have nite of fun and enjoy a good ball game.

Also- Pres. Lori ( she is just full of good news this week) wants to remind us of the Pass the Gavel Dinner which will take place on June 29. This is our annual Big party and it would be nice if everyone would attend. The exact place and motif has not been decided but the Committee is diligently working and deciding on where and when and I know they will come up with something we will all want to attend.

And, Pres. Lori has announced that the Board has decided that our Round Rotary Club will name one of our Scholarships in honor of Scott Evans and---- $1,000 has been donated to the First United Methodist Church's Stephen Ministry in Scott's Memory.

Fred Daler says that this Thursday's program will be a Classification Talks Day--- So you new Rotarians should be prepared to tell us more about yourselves .
