The Four-Way Test

Of the things we think, say or do:

  • Is it the TRUTH?
  • Is it FAIR to all concerned?
  • Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?
  • Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?"

Brad Curlee , our District Governor REP and now our District Governor Elect, gave us a very informative program last week on Membership in ROTARY. He discussed the importance to us and new members, what we, as members, need to know about it and how to implement our efforts to improve membership participation in the club, district, nation and world. Brad stressed the importance of what we need to tell a possible new member about ROTARY as it pertains to our club and how our club contributes to the efforts of ROTARY at the District, National, and World levels.
This next week, Fred informs me that the program will be brought to us by Robotics Hommies. This is a group of home schooled kids, led by Lela Solum, who have developed Robots in school as part of their cirriculum and will demonstrate to us some of their results. Ms. Solum started this program in 1993 with some help from Freescale Co. and has made it a successful program with lots of competition with other home schooled kids.

Have you notified Scott Swindell if you plan to attend our meeting next week at the Golf Course. If you are a golfer , this will be a great time to show your fellow Rotarians your abilities . If you don’t golf, it will be a great outing just to be out and enjoy the Springtime. See ya there!!!!!!!

Pres. Lori really needs some help out at the Serving Center. She needs weed eaters, rakes , shovels and strong backs to help Hydro-Mulch the landscape around the Serving Center. Any time Tuesday and especially Wednesday morning some of your time would be appreciated. Even an hour of your time will help and if you can stay longer that would be even better. Lets try to help Her!!!!!!!!!
