Have you ever incurred a problem which required the services of a Court???? I’m sure that most of us has, at one time or another, had this problem.

Did you research which Court you might need to go to or wonder how the Court System works at the City , State and Federal levels? Did you wonder how our Court System was developed and structured? And closer to home did you wonder about the Court Structure of Texas?

As it turns out , the system is highly complicated in structure--- from the local Municipal Courts and Justice of the Peace Courts to the County Level Courts ( Constitutional County Courts, County Courts at Law and Probate Courts) , to the District Courts , to the Courts of Appeals which are the Supreme Court and the Court of Criminal Appeals at the top of jurisdictions. Who knew?

Well, last week Fred Daler brought Justice Bob Pemberton of the 3rd Court of Appeals. He gave a good explanation of the working of our State Court System and it seems the system is really huge and complicated. I hope we all have some insight as to the different Jurisdictions and administrations of our State Court System thanks to Justice Pemberton.

Remember to sign up to help Lori and the Serving Center in their highly anticipated move to their new Digs. If you have a truck, trailer, or semi-truck to help move that would be helpful also. The date for the move is Saturday February 25th at 9a.m.

And—I hope all of you received Steve Tredennicks e-mail concerning Joe Knapps great- granddaughter who was diagnosed with neuroblastoma—she is only 18 months old and I know she is in all our prayers.
