Lots of items are still needed for the silent auction at the Car Thing.

Chris Leschber, Silent Auction Chairman, is asking for us to donate more items in time for the Car Thing on February 17th. If you can contribute to this auction please let Chris know as soon as possible. Your donations will be appreciated. Everything sold is clear profit for our club and we might not have to do another Fund Raiser the rest of the year. Chris can be reached at chris@apartmentaces.com or by calling 512-238-0000.

Fred Daler, our program Chair, reports that nest Thursday, Feb 16th, the program will be presented by Lisa Richardson, Asst Atty General. She will speak on the Jury Selection System and will be introduced by Kathy Sammons.
Last Thursday Fred presented to us : Patricia Chalaire, Executive Director of LIFE STEPS—and Katherine Hamman , Program Director of LIFE STEPS.. LIFE STEPS is the Williamson County Council on Alcohol and Drugs. It is committed to Prevention, Intervention, and Education for people of all ages with these problems . They concentrate on working with kids of Middle School and Grade School ages.
Upcoming Programs include:

Feb 23, Scott Evans will present Dr. Sherwood who will speak to us about a possible Bird Flu Pandemic.
March 2 Chris Dyer will bring to us a program on the Williamson County Historical Museum.
March 9 Matt Berg will bring us a program on Texas Water for People

Of course the biggie is this Friday the 17th at the Dell Diamond—THE CAR THANG---This is a real gala and if you come you will have a good time and we will make a lot of money for our ROTARY projects.
Please have all your tickets sold and bring the stubs and cash to the Meeting Thursday.

DID U KNOW??

I used to eat a lot of Natural foods until I learned that most people die of Natural causes.
I have to not take life too seriously—noone gets out alive anyway!!!!!
Health Nuts are going to feel stupid someday, lying in the hospital dying of nothing.
